This weekend I took a look backward to see how far I’ve progressed. It’s fun reading through old posts. Sometimes they are funny; sometimes embarrassing. And sometimes, it’s like “Wow. Did I do that”?
I came across names of fellow writers that I haven’t touch base with in years and others that I forgot I’ve known this long. My to-do list is a bit longer now I’ve added them to it. When I get a free minute, I’ll have to look them up and see what they’re up to. I might even drop them a line just to say hi.
After seeing how far I’ve come, it has got me thinking of where I want to go. Where will I be this time next year, in five years, in ten years. The next year is the easiest to plan. The others, not so much.
Goals for this year:
1. The first book of my Underground Trilogy will be published. No set date yet, but I’m looking at October.
2. I will double what I earned in 2014 from journalism and copywriting work.
3. I will get more of my short fiction published.
4. I want to expand into doing some artwork and cover design.
